Made from an alloy of scandium, aluminum and magnesium. It is the only alloy to replace high-strength 7000 series aluminum and is stronger than titanium. It has excellent properties such as weldability and low thermal expansion, is suitable for anodizing, and has excellent corrosion resistance. It withstands high mechanical stress and is suitable for heavily loaded safety-critical parts that require low weight.
