An alloy containing chromium, molybdenum, tungsten, and iron that is resistant to corrosion by seawater and has excellent weldability. It can withstand general corrosion, localized corrosion, chemicals mixed by various industries, and is also excellent against pitting corrosion, drafts, and stress corrosion cracking. It is often used in high-chloride, high-temperature corrosive environments such as exhaust gas cleaning equipment, nuclear fuel reprocessing, sour gas processing, and agricultural chemical production.
